Koh Chang Hotels

It doesn’t seem to matter if it’s the cool season, the warm season, or in between. The sandy beaches, sublime seas and clear azure sky of Koh Chang can be enjoyed all year round, and have become increasingly popular among both Thais and foreigners.

Thailand’s second largest island, Koh Chang features more than 52 islands – some tiny, others large – to which you can venture out and explore or relax. One of the most intriguing places in Thailand, Koh Chang is generally a place of moods rather than sights. Its central section is covered in mountains and tropical jungles, while the flat coastal plain abounds with coconut trees and secluded groves where you can escape from it all.

If you’re looking for adventure, follow the pristine rainforests to the top of the island. Rising 700 to 900 metres high, the mountain peaks of Khao Salak Petch, Khao Hom and Khao Jom offer spectacular 360-degree views of the surrounding forests and waters. Discover amazing flora and fauna in the National Park of Koh Chang, and explore the many stunning waterfalls scattered across the island.

Few beaches in the world are whiter than Had Sai Khao. Translated as ‘White Sand Beach’, Had Sai Khao stretches along the west coast of Koh Chang, adjacent to beautiful Salak Petch Bay. This beach is not only colourful in the daytime; after sunset, when the island takes on a different light, the area comes alive with restaurants, bars and outdoor activities.
